"Both the one who makes men holy and those who are made holy are of the same family. So Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers. He says, "I will declare your name to my brothers; in the presence of the congregation I will sing your praises." And again, "I will put my trust in him." And again he says, "Here am I, and the children God has given me" (Hebrews 2:11-13)

Have you ever played matchmaker for a friend? You know, setting up the introductions for people who might hit it off? You talk about and describe one friend to another until the time they met to see for themselves if they are compatible? Jesus is kind of like that. As believers, He has introduced God the Father to us and in the same way; He stands before God and calls us brothers and sisters, what an amazing thing!

"In bringing many sons to glory, it was fitting that God, for whom and through whom everything exists, should make the author of their salvation perfect through suffering" (Hebrews 2:10)

"Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water" (Hebrews 10:19-22)

On the Day of Atonement the High Priest entered into the Holy of Holies. He was the only one allowed there and only once a year. I doubt he had much confidence before God. Every other day a large heavy veil blocked passage into this chamber, it separated them from the presence of God. Now that Jesus has come, we are able to enter into the Holy of Holies through the veil of His body and into the very presence of God. We can join Him in the throne room, sit on his lap and enjoy His company. Jesus makes this possible.
